Greetings fellow Solstice observers,

Here is a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher which is our bird for the Solstice, an unusual visitor from the MidWest that has come here a few years in a row, discovered this morning a few miles from our house. Surely a bird of such beauty is a harbinger of a better time where we can put the troubles of the recent age behind us.

We’re hoping for good weather to see the Solstice conjunction tonight. If you are able to see it too, we’ll look forward to your reports!
